The Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs, Hon. Balaam Barugahara has warned that the Ministry may take legal action against singer Chosen Becky over her recent decision to change her children’s names.
Speaking to journalists, Minister Balaam said, “The Ministry will take away Chosen Becky’s kids because she’s running mad. She has no authority to change the kids’ names from their father’s.”
The warning comes after Chosen Becky reportedly replaced her children’s names with those of her new husband, Abdul Ssekajja, removing their father’s names in the process.
The move has sparked public debate, with many expressing concern over parental rights and the welfare of the children.
No official response has yet been issued by Chosen Becky regarding Minister Balaam’s remarks.
